Spherical mirrors offer a lower-cost alternative to asphereic mirrors.
Key Capabilities
ITT has the capability to manufacture high precision spherical optics with the following characteristics:
- Concave or convex
- 6" -100" diameter (0.15 - 2.5 meter)
- f-numbers to f1
- Figure accuracy better than 0.02 waves rms
Key Applications
Optical systems that can use spherical optics to meet requirements will have the benefit of a lower cost and shorter schedule to complete.
